Born Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye on April 19, 1988, Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008 titled Ogaju. Her career came into spotlight in 2014 after she took a step away from gospel music with the release of “Tiff”, a song which brought her to mainstream recognition as 2014 also saw her drop her first EP “RESTLESS”, A 5 track cover of songs from various artists including international acts it won nominations in two categories at The Headies 2015 on other awards. Fast Forward to 2018, Simi has become a house hold name in the Nigerian entertainment scene from delivery of great music and covers to headlining sold out Concerts in and outside Nigeria. It is safe to say that Simi Deserves to be Today’s Woman Crush {WCW}.
