Aston Villa is preparing for another moment of intent as they prepare to land another big name on the club’s pay list.
Everton Lucas Digne has agreed to join Villa on a £25m deal and both clubs have reached an agreement subject to a medical which is scheduled to take place later today.
The former Barcelona left-back asked to leave Everton this month and was linked with a number of big clubs including Chelsea who are sweating on having a left-back after facing a serious injury challenge in that position
Digne has made 127 appearances for Everton since arriving from Barcelona in 2018, scoring six times and assisting 20.
Meanwhile, as part of a separate deal Villa man Anwar El-Ghazi could be set to leave the Midlands and join the Toffees.
