Recall yesterday that trouper comedian, Alibaba shared a photo of an alleged fake cough syrup he bought from the pharmacy.
It was written clearly at the front of the cough syrup which had a manufacturing date of April 2019. This was also approved by the National Agency for Food & Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC).
He took to his instagram page and wrote:
“I miss #doraakunyili… They have postponed manufacturing date! We import from the future. No time”.
However, Alibaba has now repudiated his statement after taking correction from one his Instagram followers.
The follower said this matter should not be taken as a joke as it can tarnish the image of the company and he expected Alibaba to make a meticulous investigation before making his conclusion.
When checked, the follower is actually a pharmacist and the head of operations of a major pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.
