The A’Ibom 2023 Guber Race took a new turn on Tuesday, following the decision of the People’s Democratic Party aspirant.

Many where aggrieved after Pastor Umo Eno won the A’Ibom 2023 Guber Race Party primaries. Some people even went as far as going to court to challenge his victory while some others defected to other political parties.

On Tuesday, the Social media went agog due to the decision of Rt Hon. Onofiok Luke; a former Governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic party in Akwa Ibom State. Rt Hon. Onofiok Luke decided to burry his grievances for the sake of peace.

Every politician says “the party is supreme.” This was the basis of his decision.

While some people condemned the decision of the former speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in the A’Ibom 2023 Guber Race, many others commended his courage and steadfastness to the party.

While commenting on several publications online to take their stand on the act of the lawmaker, one of his loyalist praised his actions, saying, “Onofiok you are a good man. Together, Akwa Ibom state will be great.”

Others who see this act as a betrayal said, “Simply trying to be a party loyalist. They are determine to succumb to the desires of the party heads and their personal gains at the detriment of the masses.”
