The Akwa Ibom State Gubernatorial race took a new dimension on Thursday as one of the aspirants Honourable Mike Enyong took the first step to acquiring the nomination form from the People’s Democratic Party.
The form price was announced by the party leadership to be placed at an alarming rate of 21 million Naira which was believed will scare away many.
But Mike Enyong who is representing Uyo State constituency in the National Assembly took the first step to doll out 21 Million Naira for the form.
The legislator posed a picture of his form on Thursday and confirmed his formed interest in the race as the party primaries draw closer.
Many aspirants have indicated interest in the state’s top race but the only aspirant from Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital has purchased the form to stand Nomination.
