The final of the Africa Cup of Nations 2021edition in Cameroon will see two Liverpool teammates, Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane go head to head on Sunday.

Both players who have already been paired against each other in the final round of the FIFA World Cup will have a first test of the battle in the AFCON final.

The game went to extra time after a goalless draw at the regulation time and the penalty was the only option for a decider.

Egypt goalkeeper Abou-Gabal saved two spot-kicks as Dynamo Moscow forward Clinton N’jie sent his spot-kick out to make it 3-1 for Egypt.

Egypt will face Senegal in the final on Sunday as a dress rehearsal for the World Cup qualifiers showpiece.
