After the BBNaija 2019 housemates settled in, they were all addressed by Biggie. After welcoming the housemates as the chosen few as well as guests into the new Big Brother Naija house, biggie added that the 21 housemates were invited because of their individual uniqueness to take part in this social experiment.
Despite the fact that all the housemates came prepared to go home with the prize money, Biggie asked, “Who amongst you has the grit and guts to go the whole 99 days and come out triumphant?”
Biggie informed the contestants that on Sunday nights, there will be evictions where the viewers decide who stays and who goes, adding that the dynamics of the eviction will change from time to time and the housemates will have a say on the eviction as well as nominate a fellow housemate for eviction on Monday evenings in the diary room. The housemate with the highest amount of votes will be up for possible eviction on Sundays.
