Mr Udom Emmanuel, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, today formally hosted the management and players of Akwa United Football Club, the Nigeria Professional Football League 2021 Champions.
The event was held in the Banquet Hall of Government House, Uyo.
Governor Udom Emmanuel presented Akwa United with a 32-seater brand new bus, a parcel of land for each player and official, and a cash prize of N100 million for winning the NPFL title.
