Former Akwa United Football Club of Uyo defender Olisa Ndah has on Wednesday debuted for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Ndah came in for Tyronne Ebuehi in coach Augustine Eguaveon’s most changed side.
The Eagles interim boss made eight significant changes in the starting lineup against Guinea-Bissau.
Only Vice-Captain William-Troost Ekong, Sanusi, Ndidi and Iheanacho made it to the starting XI.
Uzoho, Ebuehi, Kelechi Nwakali, Iwobi, Chidera Ejike and Usma Sadiq all made their AFCON 2021 full debut.
Ndah who left the Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Akwa United at the end of last season to link up with South African side Orlando Pirates was one of the lucky players to be invited into the team by coach Eguaveon.
Nigeria has completed their 100% group stage record with three wins from three games and are heading into the knockout stages.
Eagles man of the moment Moses Simon came in and produced another eye-catching performance as he is on course for the player of the tournament award.
