Nigeria National League (NNL) and Ibom Youth Football Club star, Ndifreke John, has lost his mother and hence will miss the team’s next league fixture – the club has confirmed.
Aspire, as known by peers and associates, lost his mother on Friday in a tragic scene and will be excused from his team’s league fixture against Osun United this weekend.
Ndifreke has been an ever-present figure in the team’s setup since his arrival and his absence will be felt on the side.
His team, Ibom Youth FC, sent a message to the player and his family, notifying him of his exemption from the club’s next fixture, and also consoling him of the loss.
Aspire has been a consistent and reliable player for Ibom Youth since he graduated from Greater Tomorrow Sports Academy and will return to the team when he feels right with full concentration as the team will not want to take risks with his emotions.
