Earn Money By Whistleblowing – EFCC Boss To Nigerian Youth

Abdulrasheed Bawa, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has called to the youngsters and the general public to support the Federal Government's Whistleblowing Policy in exposing economic and financial crimes. Bawa made the request during a meeting with a group of social media influencers hosted by the Mofeto Miracle Church in Abuja on Wednesday. He went on to say that whistleblowers can make a respectable living by revealing economic and financial crimes that result in cash recovery. The EFCC chairman urged whistleblowers to report economic and financial crimes via the EFCC reporting app, Eagle Eye, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or App Store. The group, founded by novelist and human rights activist Richard Akinola, said they had closely studied the performance of the Bawa-led EFCC and had come to the conclusion that united efforts are required in the battle against corruption. They vowed to work with the commission to combat economic and financial crimes. Lara Owoeye-Wise, Gbenga Aruleba, Yomi Odunuga, and Kemas Osuji were among the group members that attended the visit.

Six high-ranking officers, including two battalion commanders, had been relieved of their duties as of January 26 after refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19. 3,073 troops have received formal "reprimands" from the army for refusing to be vaccinated. Personnel who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 would be discharged from the US Navy, the US Navy said in mid-October. “Unvaccinated Soldiers present risk to the force and jeopardize readiness,” Secretary of the Army Christine...
