Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on Friday presented vehicles to Akwa Ibom state command of the Nigeria Police Force.
The event which took place at the Government house arena, Uyo saw multiple patrol vehicles presented to the command to enhance their operation within the state.
In his speech, the peace-loving Governor acknowledged his intentions to maintain peace and secure a safe place for Akwa Ibomites especially during this yuletide period.
“Earlier today I presented new patrol vehicles to the Nigeria Police in line with our resolve to continue partnering our security agents in the battle to maintain peace in our dear State, especially during this Yuletide.
“With these new additions, we are on course to realise our target of at least 100 fully equipped patrol vehicles for enhanced security operations in our state.” Said Mr. Emmanuel.
