BNXN Biography
Daniel Benson known professionally as BujuToYourEars was born in Lagos, Nigeria on May 19, 1997. He was born to a Yoruba father and an Ininio mother. However, Buju grew up in Lagos during his early days. He eventually moved to Ogun state. Perhaps his growing up amongst the Yoruba ethnic group is the reason he is able to speak the Yoruba language. Nonetheless, Buju identifies with the people of Akwa Ibom, specifically the Nsit Ibom Local Government area.
Buju lost his mother to cancer during his early years. This and several other factors motivated him to work really hard to achieve his goals.
Career
Buju developed a love for music at a very early age. He first started out with the name Drizzle back when he was still rapping in the church as a chorister and in valedictory services. Eventually, he changed his stage name to BNXN, stating that the name has a very significant meaning to him.
He released his first single “Catch a vibe” in February of 2018. However, Buju’s rise to fame came after he got noticed by Zlatan Ibile in a famous recording session footage he shared. Shortly after, he was signed to Spaceship Records by Burna Boy.
Since his rise to stardom, the Nigerian singer has released several tracks and has featured numerous renowned artists.

The next rated award is the most competitive category in the headies awards. Buju won this by garnering the most votes. This earned him a 2022 Bentley Bentayga valued at over 300 Hundred Million Naira.
