The Governor of Akwa Ibom state Mr. Udom Emmanuel has hipped praises on the Super Eagles of Nigeria and singles out winger Moses Simon as his outstanding performer in their 1-0 win over the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Nigeria opened their AFCON campaign with a victory over Egypt thanks to a goal from Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho’s 30th minutes strike and the Governor who is a fan of the Super Eagles has wished them well.
“Good start for our darling Super Eagles at AFCON. Fine goal by Senior Man, Kelechi Iheanacho.
“Moses Simon was easily the Man of the Match, with a blistering performance down the left flank.
“I love the Super Eagles of Nigeria. I love my Akwa United and all the Akwa Ibom teams.” Governor Emmanuel said on his official social media page.
