Manchester United may be on their way to acquire the services of Chelsea rebel Anthony Rudiger, CF Bayern reports.
The German defender has been in the news for months now following his contract situation at Chelsea.
The Blues are very unwilling to offer Rudiger the £400k a-week deal he is asking for.
And clubs have been interested in signing the defender as free agent when his contract expires next summer.
Rudiger has been the best defender for Chelsea in recent years and top European clubs including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been linked with him.
Man United new boss, Ralf Rangnick has recently been linked with the German who is reported to have been in a good relationship with his agent and brother Sahr Senesie.
Rudiger will be one of the best paid defenders in world football should he secure a move to Old Trafford.
