World Tennis star, Sloane Stephens, surprised her supporters and fans as she declared her support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The black American, who is also married to a black American and Former Wolves player, Jozy Altidore, showed her love for her country of decent via her Facebook page.
“🔥🇳🇬 Nigeria Super Eagles”, Stephens wrote.
Stephens will play Anhelina Kalinina in the round of 64 of the ongoing Madrid Open.
The 29-year old won the 2017 US Open after beating Madison Keys on the Hard court and has also set out to challenge for the 2022 Madrid Open in Clay.
