Buhari To Unveil Mega Rice Pyramids In Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari plans to display a million bags of rice grain arranged as pyramids in Abuja, Nigeria's capital. The pyramids, which are said to be Africa's largest of their kind, are located on the premises of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) on Airport Road. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria collaborated to stack one million rice paddy in 15 different pyramids at the ACCI (RIFAN). Salima Mukansanga To Become The First Woman To Referee An AFCON Match

Salima Rhadia Mukansanga will today make history when she referees the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match between Zimbabwe and Guinea. The Rwandan-born referee will be the first woman to referee an AFCON match. The 35-year-old is part of an all-female lineup for the encounter at Yaounde's Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.  They will also be the first all-female team to compete in the event since its establishment. Carine Atemzabong (Cameroon), Fatiha Jermoumi (Morocco), and VAR referee Bouchra Karboubi will help Mukansanga (Morocco).
