Head coach of Shooting Stars Ibadan, Edith Agoye, hipped praises on his players after their massive home win against Enyimba Football Club of Aba, in a match day 25 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Shooting Stars hosted the People’s Elephant in Ibadan on Monday and thrashed them 2-0, to keep their top-half finish hopes alive.
Edith picked out a few stars, including the Akwa Ibom-born star, Anietie Uko, popularly known as ‘Iron’, for his praise after the midfielder anchored the midfield against one of the NPFL power house and came out top.
“Three points against Enyimba is very important for us. It’s a feeling of happiness and joy”.
“I’m happy for lucky Emmanuel, he’s gradually settling down”.
“Both Lucky and Moses are top class player, not only them, the likes of Chidera Eze and Ebuka Anekwe:.
“The combination of Ghali Falke and Aniete Uko is also helping the team”.
