Black Stars of Ghana duo of Jordan and Andrey Ayew have reinstated their commitment to the course of their National team project despite earlier claims that they have dumped the team.

News has flown from several sources claiming that the duo has retired from the National team after accusations that they are the reason Ghana was eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

But they have come out to debunk the news through reporter Katey Caesar claiming that both brothers are still committed to the National team.

“Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been. And they will continue to be.

“They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always.
We just got off the phone. Please ignore the fabrications.” Katey wrote.

The Ayew brothers were accused of using juju during the AFCON in Cameroon as it was pictured when Andre was shown a red card as Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey needed to use another armband to ignore the one used by his captain.

Partey himself has considered retiring from the team having seen what he dislikes but an official statement is yet to be heard from the midfielder.
